I can't believe our little Sophia is 4 today. She is turning into such a sweet and smart girl from that itty, bitty, and precious baby.

I'm so proud of her! This morning we were having "coffee" (which is a steamed milk for her) and a bagel with Aunt Tracy and she was counting to 10 in Greek and saying a few other words she has learned in Greek School.

When asked what she wants to be for Halloween this morning she replied, "I want to be a animal doctor when I'm big, but just... I'm gonna just be a astronaut for Halloween."

    Happy Birthday Sophia Walker!!!

    Love,
    Mommy

Both Athens and Sophia love to be in the pool. We have been spending every weekend enjoying the water.

Sophia had her ballet recital today. She has really enjoyed her ballet class. She will be starting gymnastics in a couple of week. Please check out the recital pictures below.

Sophia had her second ballet class this morning and just loved it! Aunt Tracy and I watched and agreed that the amount of cute in that room was off the charts. Check out the ballet folder for new pictures.

Sophia came home one-day saying "Mommy, sign me in". When I asked her where she wanted me to sign her in, she said, "dance class". She talked about it for days! What she didn't know was that she had been on a waiting list and we were about to find out that the class had a slot open up. When we got the call we were all so very excited!!

Well today was the first class. We woke up and got all dress up in our ballerina gear and headed to class. Unfortunately she had a rough start because she fell and scraped her knees before class. However, by the end she had joined in and was having a blast. She can't wait until next Saturday.

Sophia is growing and changing right before our eyes. At her 3yr wellness check up today we saw her jump from the 3% range in weight & height just 6 months ago to being in the 25th% for both weight & height. The doctor said she was amazed and the jump Sophia had made so she had her reweighed and measured. Sophia is nolonger a baby. She is a very happy, healty and sassy 3year old. She always keeps us on our toes and bring so much love with her wherever she goes.

I walked in on Athens cutting his hair and boy was this a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Athens cut my ponytail off the top of my head and then was able to do another short cut at the top of my head before Mommy caught him. The result was a very bad mullet. Mommy is beside herself.

I was sad when we left home this morning because Daddy said Athens wasn't going with us anymore. He said that Athens had to go to Kindergarten.

I was my first day at Ames without my big brother Athens there and I cried for Athens!

Athens said I was probably crying because on the playground (their playgrounds come together at a fence) we always see each other to giggle & hug.

I think he was right...I'm sad I won't be able to see my Athens at school anymore (until...I'm in Kindergarten too).
